As a self taught artist,  I first began by pouring over volumes of magazine articles and books written by fellow jewelry artists, who generously shared their own "how to" and "step-by-step" knowledge, tips from their "lessons-learned," and often a gallery of inspirational ideas.  It was through their instructional tutorials that I have been able to master the various techniques involved in creating elegant or just simply fun handcrafted jewelry.
